貯存在蘭嶼的低階核廢料遷移地一直未能定案，原能會主委蔡春鴻昨天在立法院答詢指出，已要求台電和經濟部，明年推動候選場址的地方公投，如果無法完成，要有替代方案。他說，台電不排除將低階核廢料集中處理，改放在無人島。

立法院教育文化委員會昨天邀請蔡春鴻報告並備詢，立委孔文吉要求原能會應督促台電盡速依規定在明年完成公投、選址。

蔡春鴻指出，如果明年台電無法完成選址，已要求提出替代應變計畫。他說，經濟部二○一二年核定台東達仁及金門烏坵列為建議候選場，但場址延宕兩年，至今無法完成公投，原能會多次要求台電改善。他表示，台電承諾明年會推動地方政府公投，如果一切順利，預計五年完成建設及搬遷。

如果明年無法完成選址公投，原能會將要求台電和經濟部有替代方案。據蔡春鴻了解，台電可能啟動「集中貯存場」的因應對策，仿效香港找一個無人島貯存低階核廢料，解決蘭嶼低階核廢料遷移問題。

蔡春鴻也表示，台電至今未放棄與對岸合作處理，但他不清楚目前進度。
